VIDEOGRAPHER AND SOUND RECORDIST FOR DOCUMENTARY 

Opportunity for a videographer and sound recordist to join Echo Vocal Ensemble for our next project

We are looking for a videographer to come and work with us to create a short ‘behind-the-scenes’ documentary video ahead of our summer tour. This will include footage from a prior rehearsal day as well as footage of a public composition workshop. The video will be used as part of a digital package that audiences can purchase alongside their live ticket.

We are looking for a videographer and recordist who:

• Will be able to capture both sound and visuals to an excellent standard over two half-filming days in June, and then edit the piece to a length of their discretion.
• Additionally, will be able to capture audio and sound for a concert on the evening of Wednesday 21st July
• Alongside the documentary, will be able to create shorter clips and teasers for social media use
• Will confidently be able to conduct interviews with singers and composers for the film.
• Will storyboard and direct the documentary film.
• Can work to a brief in order to include certain elements, while still implementing their own creative vision for the documentary film

Shooting dates: Friday 25th June (3-6pm), Saturday 26th June (12-3pm), Wednesday 21st July* (7-9pm)

Editing deadline: Monday 5th July

Full project fee, including travel: £1200.

We envisage this as two half days of filming and one full day of editing, for one person. We don’t have a specific length for the film in mind, and would like to discuss ideas in person.
