TRUSTEE - ECHO VOCAL ENSEMBLE
Echo Vocal Ensemble is seeking a new trustee to join its board. The group registered as a charity in 2019 and has ambitious plans for the next stage of its growth and development - a dynamic step change for the organisation.
We are looking for new trustees who:
- have an interest in ensemble singing and / or organisational management
- will help us achieve our mission statement (see full specification below)
- will act as an advocate for the group in different scenarios
- will support the executive team and hold it to account in achieving its aims
We are specifically hoping to appoint a
Diversity and Inclusion leader, who will hold the executive team to account on our D&I Policy to help ensure that our organisation is continually improving its accessibility and relevance.
Commitment:
- Attendance at quarterly board meetings: three via Zoom and one in-person each year.
- Attendance at Echo concerts and events where possible
- Some extra administrative work around meetings, as and when your availability allows
Fee:
This is a non-executive position and is held without a fee. Please get in touch if you're interested but your financial circumstances would preclude you from applying.
We are committed to working towards a more diverse cultural sector. Our recruitment process is open to all, and we strongly encourage applications from all interested people, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, socio-economic background, trans and non-binary candidates, LGBTQ+ candidates and those who have a disability.
